The next section explains how to delete a virtual disk.

Deleting virtual disks

A virtual disk that is assigned to a partition must have that assignment removed

before the virtual disk can be deleted.

To delete a virtual disk click the Virtual Disks tab in the View/Modify Virtual

Storage window. Select the virtual disk that you want to delete and select Delete

from the More Tasks... drop down box as shown in Figure 4-42 on page 132.

Note: When you attempt to delete a virtual disk on a running partition, a

warning message will be generated, alerting the administrator. To continue,

select the Force device removal from a running partition check box and

click the OK button again.
