Note: If the LPAR does not automatically boot from the intended hard disk
(boot device) after reboot, try this:
a. Shut down and reactivate the LPAR from the IVM.
b. Enter the SMS Menu.
c. Select 5. Select Boot Options → 1. Select Install/Boot Device →
5. Hard Drive → 9. List All Devices.
d. Choose the appropriate hard disk with the Linux image from the
given list.
e. Select 2. Normal Mode Boot → 1. Yes.
